Connecting the Core - Submission #141

The salal berry is an evergreen shrub native to the Pacific Northwest. To celebrate the salal berry, a network of irrigation channels to support this unique plant is proposed. Aqueducts, bioswales, and rainwater gardens will collect, filter and distribute rainwater and stormwater runoff for reuse in buildings and for seasonal irrigation throughout the Eastern Core district.
